Holy cow this is gorgeous work!!! I’ve been learning a lot and getting lots of inspiration to up my game! ...though, I am currently no where close to this skill level, truly! I love this build. The attention to detail is phenominal!

Oh, and I love the kite string tip...I never thought of using that stuff!

Railing around the AA gun container position ,
Made a jig for it So it will stay in place when the glue cures.
The railing came out nice ,
still need to add rod-bracing to the vertical posts.

Very nice!!! What material did you get the plastic from for the railing work?

On the rubber mold...is there a kit or something that you get the rubber from? I’ve always wondered what it’s like making molds...what the procedures, products, etc. are like.

Love the paint scheme on the tower! I can see how difficult that would be to see on a hazy day on the water. Was this just a Baltic scheme? I have never seen this on a Type VII or IX boat before.

All the plastic rod i use are from evergreen,

I get my silicone/rubber and resin from an arts and craft store,
the one i use is the 1:1 ratio mix .... no need to weigh your hardener just pour equal amounts of product.

    Plenty of tutorials on youtube
