Team Yankee version 2 is out.

Battlefront has just released the updated rulebook to Team Yankee, there is some rule changes that bring it more in line with the new Flames of War rules. There are upgrades to the various armies which will allow for Desert Storm era play as well.

The British get the first treatments with new vehicles to include the Challenger tank.

There will also be plastic models of aircraft as well as the M-109 self propelled howitzers

I have to say that I just find the battlefront site very difficult to navigate which is why there is the review from nodicenoglory.

The West Germans are waiting their release this coming weekend so that probably just leaves a combined Warsaw Pact book though that is just speculation.

Hi Frank. The contents mention rare earth magnets, are these for attaching turrets to hulls? Also have to agree with you on navigating the Battlefront site.

Yeah, in 15mm that is usually what they are used for, really helps to keep everything together in transit.

In 28mm or 1/56 they are quite often used if you want to give a mini some options like a different weapon or head. Rare Earth are the ones that people talk about but I bought some 2mm and 3mm generic ones off ebay quite a while ago and they seem to be doing the job.
